Amazing experience. We went here to watch the opening night of Kim's Convenience and it was absolutely amazing. It was a packed out theatre and really enjoyed the buzz. They had a small convenience store serving numerous Korean food and drink items top which we bought alongside a nice tote bag. Was a great evening and would highly recommended to others interested in the show or other shows they have on at the studio. Have already recommended to friends and family to visit!
Absolutely loved the studio and the play. Kim's Convenience at Riverside Studios was an absolute delight! The acting is exceptional, bringing to life characters that are both lovable and incredibly real. Each character has depth, and the dynamics between them feel genuine and heartfelt, making the show both funny and emotionally engaging. The show’s charm lies in its witty humor and relatable moments that resonate with the audience. The setting at Riverside Studios adds to the overall experience, creating an intimate atmosphere that pulls you into the world of the Kim family. A must-see production that’s entertaining from start to finish. And also had the best coffee in Hammersmith.
I came to see Kim’s Convenience and what a wonderful performance. My two stars comes from the ladies working the ticket booth. All were terrible ant customer service. I’m a Canadian and love the TV show. I thought I’d see the performance and what the TV show was based on. I absolutely loved all the Canadian references. I politely asked if I could quickly meet the performers and was denied even after I explained I’m from Canada and a Veteran. If it wasn’t for Canada your play would be nonexistent. Even though there was two hours between performances I was told I could not even get a quick selfie. No one even made an attempt to go above and beyond; typical of the UK shitty customer service. All I wanted to do was thank the performers for making my evening a special evening as a Canadian in a foreign country….Not possible.
I’ve been here a handful of times for multiple kinds of events including the cinema and theatre. There’s a great bustling atmosphere in the foyer giving it more a community cafe type feeling which is nice. Great facilities and accessibility.
Great creative establishment. I think there is a cinema here and several theaters showing different shows. I saw “There’s A Monster In Your Show Here”. It was very entertaining. Has an independent feel. There is a reception selling merch and a cafe with lovely cakes.
The staff was very professional and friendly, and the venue was clean. Tickets to the play were affordable and we had great seats! I was worried that they wouldn't be comfortable but we actually had lots of space/leg room unlike in bigger theatres in the West end. The restaurant had lovely views over the river and tables outside. Really enjoyed our time there.
Great new discovery in Hammersmith, a venue with theatre/ studio/cinema. Lovely open space when you walk in, with bar/restaurant at front. - Went to see ' Kim's Convenience', at the Theatre. Love the show on Netflix, so thought since in London, would watch the play that inspired the show...which also starred the writer/director. - Really good, short show No interval. Much more serious than tv show, but still v.funny at points.
Beautiful venue with historicity and a great program of events. The riverside location is also amazing. Would definitely recommend checking their lineup and consider a visit if anything tickles your fancy.
We were pleasently surprised at the location of this theatre/venue. It was very easy to get to on the tube. The seating has ample leg room, good views and is not too big. The bar and reception covered a large area and had plenty of seating. We would definitely go back there.
Surprised at how good the kitchen is! Just say down because it was the closest thing but wasn't expecting to stay longer than what it took to read the menu. Everything sounded yummy so ended up staying. Super quick and friendly service, incredible food and nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back.
