Pro.. Hound of the Baskavilles. What energy, stunts and great comic book comedy acting. The actors play many character rolls with wonderful enthusiasm and delivery of the story line. I was amazed how the cast remembered all their lines. All the actors deserved at least an extra curtain call. Bravo, Bravo, Encore, Encore guy's your performances were greatly enjoyed and appreciated. The stage crew were so in step with changing the scenery and props I will be attending this theatre as much as I can and highly recommend everyone to experience the Putney Arts theatre.
Excellent fringe theatre venue in the heart of Putney. Worth a visit to see Putney Theatre Company & Group 64 Children's Theatre Group perform high standard shows throughout the year.
Lovely little theatre, saw The Hound of the Baskervilles, very funny, and well acted.
Excellent regional theatre company with deep links to the local community, always lively productions. Looking forward to the new season.
Why go to the West End when you can enjoy theatre at its best in Putney? Simply blown away by Amadeus. From the Direction, production, set design, costumes, characterisation and , of course, sublime acting. All actors were superb, but Paul Dineen Salieri and Nathan Chatelier Mozart were a tour de force. Have already booked My Fair Lady and Scandaltown. The journey from Wapping to Putney is well worth it!
A great place for young people to do drama. Good and well equipped building
Absolutely loved this theatre. It looks like a church on the outside but has been converted into a theatre. The staff were really friendly, the seats, the sound system, the lighting were all perfect. Highly recommend if there's a show you want to see here. We saw Nell Gwynn here and it was hilarious!
I joined PTC in June 2021 and I’ve been involved in several production. This is such a lovely community of incredible and diverse people. I love being part of it and I would recommend for anyone around Putney who want to meet new people or do more theatre stuff whether it’s acting, directing, stage management, light, etc.
Great theatre. Often stunning shows. There is a strong youth theatre group called Group 64 which has lots of children's shows, which is obviously where the previous reviewer found himself but Putney Arts Theatre is an adult company that put on a very varied mix of quality stuff. You would be hard pushed to get an evenings entertainment for the price of one of their tickets. I never miss a show.
