I have used this surgery for years because of the excellent medical care I receive but on my recent visit I had superb service from a receptionist who went the extra mile! I had made a mistake when ordering my prescription and she helped me without making me feel bad. In general, Aisha is a kind warm lady and this makes a huge difference when you are in the vulnerable position associated with any GP experience.
Its a nice clean surgery,and the staff on reception are helpfull at all times.You dont have to wait long for an appointment.The doctors and nurses are friendly aswell.Me and my partner joined last year as our other surgery wasnt very good.And we was recomended to come to riverbrook.And we are very happy.The hours are better for my partner who works different hours and works away .keep up the good work. Been a patient of Riverbrook and Dr Chauhan since I was a child. Decades later, under Dr Chauhan's leadership Riverbrook is an exceptional surgery - always willing to help, supportive, excellent doctors across the board. Highly recommended.
A patient for over 25 years, the practice doctors very good when can get to see them. Unfortunately things have become increasingly difficult to see a Dr ..broke my wrist nearly 3 weeks ago, initially got incorrect advice from a local chemist, the delays with x-ray not the surgery's fault but xry confirmed fracture sent results back to my surgery but they are saying despite me walking around with a fractured wrist not been seen by any consultant or Gp because no appointments? So they don't keep any appointments now for emergencies which they used to. What was the point in Dr texting me to say they needed me to get appointment to discuss?? Just have to take the radiologists assurance that it appears to be healing ok despite a lack of medical assistance ... Thanks!
I was very pleased with my experience at River Brook Medical Centre. Particularly Dr. Tolba who I had wonderful experience from start to finish. He is wise, observant, honest, speak with a gentle voice and is very skilled. Most importantly, he put me at ease. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such honesty and care for a patient.It is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Thanks to receptionists as well. They always do their best to help and are very flexible.
Great surgery. Dr nair is an excellent doctor . Very grateful to have her as my gp.
Iv been at this surgery for 30+ years, but they have removed me and my son because of a change of address but signed up my daughter with the same new address, I have been told numerous times to sign back up and they will but me on the system, only find out they have not, once I contact them to get an appointment. I’m really disappointed with how Iv been treated by the staff on reception, who have consistently given misleading information. I give up, I have now registered for a new surgery.
This surgery really is exceptional. I have been with this practice since 1980. Never have I experienced a problem. The Doctors here have a great empathy with their patients as well as being excellent Doctors. I never feel rushed, appts are thorough and they are very reassuring before you walk back out the door. They are honest in their advice to the patient. He Receptionists are absolutely wonderful but also very professional. Never in all these years have I had problems speaking to a Doctor or booking an appointment. Patients tend to forget that we are only one of thousands on the Surgery books. The Receptionists have always been polite, friendly and greet you with a smile, that makes such a difference when your feeling anxious about your appointment. The Nurses, especially Cheryl I can not praise highly enough. Again they have this reassuring way with their patients. I never feel I can’t ask questions. Cheryl will always put my mind at rest, such kind and caring Nurses but also very knowledgeable in their field of work. The Surgery is always very clean and smells clean. This surgery is the only thing keeping me living in Birmingham or I would have moved years ago. An excellent GP Doctor and Surgery is so important and I have that in Riverbrook.
