I think many people have used the google reviews system to air their frustrations and have a moan about the Harlequin! some of these reviews are unfair and I strongly suspect, untrue. The truth is that Harlequin and its entire staff are under an enormous amount of pressure whilst they do their level best to provide healthcare for the ever increasing local community. I have been a patient of this practice for approximately 9 years and in that time, have not had reason to submit a single complaint. Of course, some of the procedures can be irritating and annoying, but when you combine healthcare with the associated records and then the relevant data protection issues, things become complicated. Now throw in many many prescription requests and lots of poorly people clambering for appointments with GP,s who are in short supply and it should make us all wonder how on earth the front line staff keep smiling. The thorough and prompt attention afforded to both my partner and myself, on the same day as writing this review, was nothing short of excellent and we are both very grateful indeed. I would respectfully suggest that we, as a community should support our health care providers by being courteous and respectful. If they had unlimited appointments I’m sure we’d all get one, if a prescription has gone astray, it’s far more likely to be a genuine mistake than negligence. I believe our patience would be rewarded. The entire staff of The Harlequin Surgery … I salute you all !!!
Visited today seen by Male Doctor well say Doctor or rmaybe a Male nurse, so rude, disengaged and had a really bad attitude, would rather stay in pain than visit again. well done NHS for employing such a nasty ****.
Im a mom of 6, i have children with special needs and as much as there are a few really good doctors here you can never get an appointment to be seen at this surgery, its just an awful system they have got going on, I'm not surprised they are loosing so many patients, I my self shall be looking for a better surgery. This one has gone down hill. Which is ashame it used to be a good practice! Wouldn't recommend as you'll highly likely not get seen.
I didn’t see my Gp pankania in these 4 year just had home call twice and when I going to visit thire is one nurse is terrible racist resemy or something like that never treat you like human never giving you prescriptions never ever tallk to you in good mood shame on NHS to give them job as nurse on this surgury
Impossible to get them to even answer the phone, nevermind get an actual appointment! Why not employ another receptionist to answer calls if they're so busy? Disgraceful!
I think this surgery his simply the best especially with doctors like Dr David Antony and Dr pankerney l think that's the way you spell it they help you every time never in a rush to get rid of you they listen to you they are simply the best doctors around shardend by far
This is the worst surgery in the whole of Uk. They are in-fact very racist and I myself have been a victim of racial abuse at this surgery. The receptionist never answer the phone and u need to call between 8-9 to get an appointment however I was outside the surgery at 8 and could see the two receptionist giggling and laughing completely ignoring the calls. It’s a shame in the name of NHS They have a 0 tolerance policy posters in the surgery because every patient argues with them over not been seen or being constantly ignored. They’re rude threatening and racist surgery Please avoid just go to a&e or pray for death
A clinical practitioner told my grandmother that she had ovarian cancer on the sole basis of a blood screen. This was during a home visit, and he called all my family around to "break the news", and we found this devistating. Later in the week my nan was taken to hospital for a different complaint, and informed the doctors of this "diagnosis". The doctors at the hospital have officially complained about this to the surgery. This is absolutely disgusting that a so-called professional would do this. They should be dismissed on the basis of incompetence. He knows he has messed up because he called my Nan, being emphatic about he was on annual leave, saying he was worried about her specifically... After the bogus cancer diagnosis was made and complained about.
I would just like to say that this surgery is second to none excellent service 10/10 never had one problem especially if I get through to Vikky who is so pleasant & helpful nothing is to much trouble for her. excellent manner & a delightful personality 10/10 she is a credit to the surgery. Many thanks. Derek Williams.
