Rivacre Country Park is a lovely, peaceful place for a day out. The walking trails are well-maintained and surrounded by plenty of greenery and wildlife, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll or dog walk.nnParking is convenient, and the park feels safe and family-friendly. A wonderful place for a stroll, a picnic, or just to enjoy some fresh air. Highly recommend!
Great loop around with stream and bridges along the way. Trail is nice and flat but bit of a hill at the start. Safe and perfect for dogs. Free parking.
A good size free car park, with rangers station. Leads into a lovely park. Dog friendly. Good walk ways, though a little steep down to the main park. A lovely stream running through with picnic benches and normal seating dotted about. A lovely walk with friends, children and doggies. The snowdrops were just giving way to the bluebells as I went. It will be a carpet of blue at the end of April beginning of May, stunning I imagine. A great park. Will be returning.
A decent pace for dog walking. We did notice that there seemed to be quite a number of dog owners that had not picked up after their dog, which did mean a fair amount of unpleasant messes. However, we did discover a frustrating lack of bins, which might explain it to some extent. Otherwise, a pleasant wooded area with plenty of pathways and walks.
Lovely peaceful place, you can have short or long walks depending on what you want. Paths are well kept and accessible to all, lots of bird life around and the brook is visible for a lot of the walking areas. Visited in early May and the bluebells were out just to add to the beauty of the place. I used to live very near here and hadn't visited the valley in nearly 50 years, I couldn't believe how much the woodland had expanded.
