I had such a nice time at Whitby Park. It’s a lovely, peaceful place that feels really welcoming from the moment you arrive. I spent some time walking around and just taking it all in — the open green spaces, the friendly atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of the park.nnThe playground was full of happy kids, and it made the whole park feel so lively and cheerful. I also loved how dog-friendly it was; it felt like everyone was enjoying themselves, whether they were out for a walk or playing with their pets.
A surpring lovely park. A lot larger than it looks with some lovely flat walks
Nice place where to have a cup of tea, coffee and playing or watching how people play something similar to bowling in the grass.nStaff was very nice as well. I won't give 5 stars because always there is the chance to improve.
Unfortunately we returned from a lovely dog walk around the great green spaces and came back only half an hour later to a parking fine for not being in the marked bays! Although we were two spaces length ways as we have a LWB van. I will be strongly contesting this fine am fed up of being discriminated against for have a van!
A great place for little mischief makers. There is enough space and climbing frames for children up to 10 years old. The only thing that sometimes I don't like is that dogs and people who smoke are brought inside. There is also no toilet where the children can go when they need it, they have to do it behind the bushes. Also inside the park there are 2 soccer fields, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, skateboard ramps and a marsh that has different types of birds that live there.
