I had such a nice time at Whitby Park. It’s a lovely, peaceful place that feels really welcoming from the moment you arrive. I spent some time walking around and just taking it all in — the open green spaces, the friendly atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of the park.nnThe playground was full of happy kids, and it made the whole park feel so lively and cheerful. I also loved how dog-friendly it was; it felt like everyone was enjoying themselves, whether they were out for a walk or playing with their pets.
A great place for little mischief makers. There is enough space and climbing frames for children up to 10 years old. The only thing that sometimes I don't like is that dogs and people who smoke are brought inside. There is also no toilet where the children can go when they need it, they have to do it behind the bushes. Also inside the park there are 2 soccer fields, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, skateboard ramps and a marsh that has different types of birds that live there.
The park that is clean, children friendly, andnwell kept with calm atmosphere. You can enjoy an a affordable coffe at very close. It was a pleasure to work your way throught the gym obstacles after a 6 km walk throught the beautiful gardens of the area.
The park was great. We enjoyed the mini pond with the ducks and squirrels, and we even were lucky because the ice cream van just came at the time when we went to the park. There is a very large free parking for all of the vehicles.
Little oasis of calm in the middle of Ellesmere Port. Lovely pond with ducks, herons and other wildlife. Squirrels abound. Well equipped, well maintained children's playground. Great place for picnics, short walks or just to chill.
