The park itself is lovely and well maintained. There are loads of squirrels at the park that are really tame and quite happy to get up close with people. Great experience for the kids especially if they're into animals. Seen a few people feeding them nuts that i believe you can buy at the park (i didnt see where though). There is a reasonably priced cafe serving cakes and ice creams etc and although the waitress serving us wasn't the best it didn't detract from what is a lovely place to spend the afternoon.

Beautiful park with high level of maintenance. Local wildlife include squirrels and moorhens roam freely. Large play area and immaculate public toilets.

Beautiful park with lovely walks and mature trees. Take nuts for the squirrels and they'll feed out of your hand! Playground and mini railway ride for kids.

Great place to visit , especially for the kids as the squirrels Inthe park are so tame they eat out of your hand..ive just had an hour feeding them and got some lovely video clips and pictures..

We loved it with the kids they enjoyed a good run around and saw wildlife closer than we have at any other park
