What a lovely little country pub! We had a really good night here last week with our 2 little dogs who were made to feel very welcome! The team at the pub are so welcoming, the food was excellent and great value. Really lovely place to drop in and have a much needed drink & some food. Excellent! Thank you!
New years eve was good though felt that music should of been playing from early evening. Karioke was good but again should of had a set time for singing then the rest of the night should of been full on music
Went to the pub quiz night in aid of Mental Health. Pub packed and a really well organised evening. Great fun!
Superb. Great. A family of 3. Friendly staff, great beers and proper Sunday roast. Son had the home made fudge cake and wife oreo cheesecake...clean plates. Defo returning before we leave this beautiful part of the world.
Great little pub with friendly staff and atmosphere. Food is standard pub grub but served me and a couple of my friends well during a camping trip. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic accommodation. Lovely food. Pat , Claire and James amazing hosts. Nothing too much trouble and they make you feel so welcome. Could not fault it, and would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you for a lovely visit.
Attended my Grandsons Christening after party at The Rising Sun. Always a great atmosphere there with a fab selection of food prepared by Claire
Lovely community / family atmosphere. Excellent Sunday Roast with 3 levels of portion size! Great VFM! Darts, TV, cruel ripostes from Boss Man Pat... What's not to like?!
Always a great welcome from Pat and Claire, loads of different beer on tap
Excellent pub with two terrific rooms for overnight and excellent full breakfast with lots of choice. Sunday lunch reputation is good and needs advance booking. Good atmosphere in bars.
