Lovely walk alongside the river. You could, if you had enough energy but not advisable on a steaming hot day, walk the couple of miles to Ely. Much wildlife to see, peaceful and pleasant.
Old kimbo makes it a great place to visit
My Daughter book a few days stay at this wonderful lodge for a special birthday. Its was a great size for all six of us and everything you needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The hot tub and sauna were amazing and if we even ran out of anything help was only a phone call away. Pub was great and everyone we met was very friendly. To be honest I fell in love with this place and would go back.
Fabulous meal Rib eye steak chips salad and mushroom. £19.99 cooked to perfection excellent meal, and was charged £9.99 50% off. Staff very polite and helpful. Outside beer garden over looking boats on the river.
Lovely place to stop early in our trip. Very friendly staff and helpful with my gluten free needs which was not expected! Food was lovely x
Stumbled on this place during a long car journey after looking for places that were good for dogs. Really friendly staff and the dog even got given a sausage! Food great with good veggie options. Had a falafel burger and it was lovely. Garden area next to a river with a longer walk option along the water side. Will definitely come back if in the area.
Great place lovely setting. The food was very tasty. We took a dog and two wheelchairs they made us feel very welcome We would go back the only thing we would of liked is to get nearer the water in our wheelchair's Thank you
A quaint little village area which is home to an older generation of people. Freshly kept lawns and houses adorn the area. There is also the local Lazy Otter pub, which is full of locals. As well as that, the food is pretty decent with generous food portion sizes and good value across menu items. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Nice enough place, food average old style-before we got good at food as a country- pub food. Service was however really good. Very nice and friendly, and above all, competent staff!
Nice surroundings arrived without a booking, and was show to a table in the restaurant, great view of the river. we both chose roast beef, the plate arrived with Yorkshire pudding 2 roast potatoes and sliced beef, in rather alot of gravy, vegetables came separate, we were given baby carrots peppery mashed swede, and leeks with a watery transparent sauce, I thought we would get a portion each, but no this was to share, I have to say I was a little disappointed, espcially as it was £14.95. But on the other hand there was room for pudding I thought, well my partner chose roulade and ice cream, I'm really glad the door's and windows were closed, as it could easily blown off the plate, I had a coffee and walnut cake with ice cream, which was ok, when presented with the bill.... Well wish I'd have checked the price of dessert they were over £6.00 each. I was horrified. If the main had been substantial and had dessert it would have been worth it but £50.00 for this meal was Expensive, have to say it was a little disappointing.
