Very good pub. Good selection of beer , cider and spirits. Prices excellent. Great place for a proper drink.. Very welcoming.

Spent a few evenings in the Riser getting to know some of the great characters who seem to live there.
Friendly local pub,no pretensions. Great place for meeting friends and lovely beer garden, oasis, created by previous landlady. Doesn't stink of chips.
Good range of ale and cider. Friendly customers and staff. Would definitely recommend their blues and booze weekend only a few a year chilling out with a guest beer listening to some cracking music - excellent.
A quirky and well stocked traditional pub. Popped down for a few drinks on Christmas Eve, wasn't my first visit and won't be my last.
Darts night, good pint of orchard pig ,choice of music or footy.its ok.
