I had the Buffalo Wings, they were great! Just mildly spicy and very juicy. My girlfriend had a Ham Sandwich, which was also great
Lovely friendly staff. We had 2 roast beef lunches, very tasty and very filling! Great spot to eat, next to the canal. Would recommend.
Despite the signs on the road at 15:03, Sunday afternoon they refused to serve food saying the kitchen is closed now. Brilliant business?!?! Not...
Lovely food and nice service from staff. Popped in on a Sunday late lunch and it wasn't too busy either. Will go again
On our way home from our canal walk from the Dundas Aqueduct to the Claverton pumping station and Warleigh Weir we parked at the Train Station car park in Bradford-On-Avon and walk up to the Canal Tavern for a bite to eat. This is a nice pub in a picturesque location with lovely outside seating areas surrounded by pretty flowers,we never had to wait long for our order as they serve food all day long. I had a lovely burger and a mug of chips the Mrs had a cheese and pickle sandwich washed down with orange juice.Very enjoyable.
A pleasant canal side Inn that serves a tasty breakfast. The full English breakfast is enough to set you up for the rest of the day, and full of flavour, where as the scrambled eggs on toast is handy for those of us with smaller appretites. Unfortunately the toast would have been more palatable had it been buttered. The staff are friendly, polite and professional. The toilets are spotlessly clean, always a good sign when eating out. The management take every precaution to minimise the spread of Covid-19. 15/4/22.
Lovely canalside pub. Friendly efficient staff and really nice food. Great experience . wholeheartedly recommend
Staff very welcoming, service excellent. We had the Sunday roast value for money, decent sized portions, lovely fresh vegetables and the meat was of great quality. Good selection of beers and in a lovely location, will definitely be returning if in the area.
First time we've been here although been to Bradford on Avon many times. Good Sunday roast. Plenty of meat. Friendly staff. A Wadworth pub, 3 real ales on. Good location.
Decent beers and good location. Food looked amazing but we didn't order any ourselves
