Rides on Air Cycles was founded in 1996 and is South Oxfordshire's premier cycle shop

Story

We specialise in Marin,Whyte, Merida, Dawes also Wilier. We stock various models from Mountain Bikes, Hybrids, Road and Cyclo cross bikes. Also we have a great range of Kids bikes, Heritage and touring bikes.

We also have Scooters from Grit and Crisp and Bmx's in stock ready for Christmas!

All our bikes are availablefor you to try first and weekend demonstration bikes can be reserved.

Military, Fire, NHS & Police discounts available on production of ID.

I bought a folding bike from there for a good and reasonable price took the bike in three months later for a free service. Very happy with the service and very happy with the result. Going to book my bike in for a following service soon.

These guys are heroes. I broke my rear gear cable and called them, I was about 40 minutes out of town and they shut in 40 minutes. They not only waited for me to arrive, but wouldn't sell me the cable but insisted on replacing it for me - I was grateful, I wouldn't have done it without them. Brilliant, friendly folks. Really looked after me. They under charged me too. To be clear, they stayed working on my bike 40 minutes after closing time on a beautiful late summer Sunday. They didn't want me stranded. Officially my favourite bike shop. Thanks again, guys

A shody set up and poor service. I took my lapierre carbon fibre MTB in for a service, change the gears from a 2*10 to a 1*11 have a shock service and set up tyres tubless and switch brakes between two bikes This took 2 months. There was zero contact from the shop in terms of updates. I had to call repeatedly to get any progress. When I finally got the bike back, the tyres were underinflated (8psi), the brakes rubbed, the shock wasn't serviced and big holes in the frame were left uncovered where cables were removed. Most comically they had only changed one of the brakes on each bike so I now have two mismatching sets.They are friendly enough in there but don't give them your pride and joy they just aren't competant or organised enough to cope with anything other than changing a punctured tyre
