Great service and expertise! After a break from mountain biking I decided to get back into it and brought a high spec Orange Five in 2016, randomly from Ubyk. The service was great and its fair to say I ‘got the bug’ back for biking, so much so that I recently ordered a custom built Yeti SB6 to start racing Enduro. The knowledge and guidance involved in spec’in the bike was fantastic. It was also really cool working directly with the bike mechanic during the build to make sure it was set up for me. The ‘beast from the east’ snow storm delayed delivery for some of the ore components which delayed the bike but Ubyk bent over backwards trying to get everything done in time - can’t ask much more than that.

Easily one of the best bike shops in the UK, let alone Oxford. I have been using Ubyk for the last few years where they have helped or worked on a number of different bikes of mine. Most recently a full custom build which needs to be commended. Between Stephen and Josh they were always on hand either via email, face to face or on the phone to discuss build options and appease me wanting to talk bikes all day. Knowing how excited I was for this new bike, Ubyk even took professional grade photos and sent to me personally. All for the cost of the parts if I had gone shopping around online and bought from 101 different online retailers. I have found, particularly for high end kit you will struggle to find a better price, however it is the service being second to none which is why I keep coming back. Ubyk undoubtedly specialise in the mid to ultra high end bikes, but I have seen just as good a service whilst in store with customers completely new or uncaring to the sport, and just want their pub bikes fixed for example. The knowledge and passion of the staff is clear, which is why I question some of the negative reviews as it is simply something I have never encountered at Ubyk in either location over the years. Great shop, great service, great prices and great staff.

Ordered an item advertised as 1-2 days delivery. That passed and i was told there was website issues. Fair enough. More time passed with no info, so I phoned 9 days after ordering (it was over the easter weekend) and was told, no longer in stock. Back in stock in two days and would be sent on Friday. Not sent Friday. Not in stock. Cancelled order. Bad internal communications or not completely honest about what happened. Time wasted.

I would highly recommend purchasing a bike from these guys. The service was fantastic, the staff were professional and knew what they were talking about. Communication was fantastic.
