Came here for their Jan 22 tasting menu and my goodness. The best food me and my partner have had in awhile! Each dish tastier than the last, with a great selection of wines by the glass and bottle and great friendly service. I can't wait to tell everyone who will listen to come here. Their regular menu changes weekly so there's always something different to try.
Richmond is a very nice and warm literally restaurant. The have an early evening menu which is about the same but a bit more simple. However; We wanted meat! And went in for a chat-grilled striploin steak. It was very tasteful. We did not find a real nice starter, but ‘on the board’ were some snack that were excellent as a starter. People were very nice. We were glad with our choice for diner.
Came here for dinner and was supremely impressed with the food and service. Beautifully presented and bursting with flavour I'd love to return and try their tasting menu. The wines we tried were top notch and the atmosphere was great.
We are travelling in Dublin from Canada and booked the early dinner menu at Richmond and had the most wonderful time! From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed warmly, offered complementary onion bahji bread, and our allergies nuts were taken into account with such care. The plating was stunning, the meal was scrumptious and special, but the portions left us full and satisfied. We could not believe the quality of food, service and lovely atmosphere for the price. A must try if you are in Dublin looking for a special occasion dinner spot or just a lovely date night.
I’d heard great things about Richmond, but wandered past with my husband on a rainy October evening. The wonderful staff luckily had a table for 2. Right from the outset from the beautiful crab tartlets, to the sea bream ceviche and amazing sea trout. The wine pairings were stunning and the staff, well the staff were outstanding, laid back and perfectly attentive. Highly recommend for a lovely evening out.
Lovely cozy restaurant with a great value early dinner menu. The portions are small but rich and we really enjoyed the beef cheek, fish and lamb shank. The one thing that we could have used is more of an explanation of sauces and items when served since they are plated in a fine dining cuisine style and harder to distinguish, however everything was delicious! They also accommodated our gluten free party member and they enjoyed very much as well.
Another delightful meal at Richmond. This time for Sunday brunch. Cannot fault this spot. Flawless food, lovely staff and warm vibes. They simply do everything well. Please visit.
My wife and I booked the early dinner menu on a Sunday at Richmond and had a wonderful meal. Our server was knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had regarding the dishes. Presentation was good with the hits being the duck leg sausage, ox cheek, panna cotta and date pudding as well as the Beaujolais we selected.
Cannot go wrong with a Michelin recommendation. They have tasty entrée snacks one-two bites which are affordable and very complex in taste, try some if you feel like it. Then, as normal entrée the mousse was different from anything I've eaten so far in a good way and the shrimp sesame tart was amazing. For the first courses I got the stake and my colleague had the daily fish. Both were extremely good and the portions were more than acceptable. Overall an above average experience, as to be expected, which I will gladly repeat.
Delicious! Blown away by this restaurant. Such a gorgeous meal. Great atmosphere and the quality of the food is exceptional. Highly recommend and will be returning again and again
