Our first time to Edinburgh - Absolutely Fabulous Stay! Very Friendly and helpful staff, always polite and reception staff giving us helpful tips about the local amenities. The breakfast was delicious and our hotel room was stunning, modern and very spacious. The hotel is in a great location, just 10 minutes walk into the town and to the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend if you are looking for a great city break!

Location is good but entrance is difficult to find. It is newly constructed on hospital site. Also they don't have maintenance services. I was asked to change room twice because some of the stuff was not working in every room. Apart from that they have same menu for breakfast everyday. Overall experience was good.

Nice room but was quite dirty.. the lounge was incredibly dirty, and the quilt on the bed had dark stains on it. The room was also incredibly hot, and even when you turned off the heating, it was way too hot. We had to open the windows all the way to cool the place down. Very uncomfortable experience. Gave the place 3 stars because it redeemed itself with the amazing free breakfast.

We stayed in room 603, and had called up a few days beforehand to ask about an early check-in, as it wasnt due to be until 4pm. They met our request as they checked us in at 12pm, and in a room high up which we had also asked for. We'd never stayed in a suite before so were stunned with all the appliances, not that we used any as we only stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was brilliant, just maybe not enough tables to cater for the amount of people staying. All the staff, however, we as helpful as you could ask for, and helped to make it a very enjoyable stay in Edinburgh. Would definitely come back.

Very good service. Upon check in, the receptionist gave us a free upgrade n allow us to have an early check in. Very polite n friendly. Very helpful as well...showing us where to go around Edinburgh. Check into the room n realise the kettle is old n a bit rusty. Called up the front desk and they change a totally brand new kettle for us. Toilet r spacious n clean. Only downside is the floor in the toilet are cold n there is no bath room slippers in the room..
