Fantastic Thai food with lovely, friendly service at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is large and would be good for bigger groups. Service is fast, friendly and fun. The food is really good. Everything tasted great, not very heavy or overly salty. Highly recommend
Visited on a Thursday night which was booked up in the morning, so had to settle for 18:00 dinner. The restaurant is upstairs, vibe is nothing special. When we arrived there were only 2 other guests, yet it took over 15 mins to take our order. Food arrived fairly quickly, however it was difficult to get the attention of anyone while there, this got worse as the restaurant got busier. The starter of fried salt and pepper squid was tasty with some kick. The pad thai somewhat lacked much taste. It was a generous portion size. Struggle to order dessert, the mango sticky rice, the mango was not very ripe. Overall food is average, decent selection of drinks, service very slow on a busy night.
Atmosphere was good, the dining room is quite intimate so you get served almost immediately. My boyfriend and I both had a Duck Spring Roll for starter and a Red Thai Curry each. Food was a bit too sweet for my liking but that is just my personal taste, nothing wrong with the food. Tried to get into the lounge bar but there was a private party at the time.
Hidden away entrance on the side of the building which leads to the reception area and bar. Upstairs is where the bulk of the seating is, but beware of the low ceiling when going up the stairs. Open and bright dinning room with its own bar upstairs. The service was reasonably fast considering we were a large group. Small selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. They also do mocktails non-alcoholic cocktails. They do a set menu if you'd prefer to save some money, or you can order alacarte. Overall, a pleasant experience and I'd certainly visit again. I'd recommend the salter and pepper squid for a starter Vegetarian options: Specific vegetarian and vegan items shown on the menu
Overall it was a lovely gastronomic experience and tasty too...just starters quite expensive and a very small amount..the mains were reasonable portions . Friendly staff and they have 10% service charge..
OMG. I really did not know this place was in Reigate it's a hidden gem 100% The food was amazing panang fish curry and I also found out they have a cocktail bar which I will be coming too now most weekends. Thanks to Thita and Sam for your great customer service.
Stumbled across this place by accident after finding Giggling Squid fully booked on a Saturday night. Initially there were no tables available but owner couldn’t have been more helpful and soon sorted us out. No hardship having a drink in the lounge area while we waited will certainly return in the week for happy hour. Food excellent and reasonably priced . Very busy so had a short wait to be served but food then arrived promptly. Would highly recommend and will be back.
What can I say about this restaurant but a joy to find it.from the entrance which has character and charm ,to the drinks lounge area which is stylish. To the upstairs restaurant that is atmospheric. The staff all very knowledgeable the food a masterpiece of flavours. I will be going back for sure.
Amazing food! Beautifully cooked and so delicious.!!Everything was cooked to perfection. Beautiful Lovely staff! Can’t wait to visit again!! Vegetarian options: Though we are not vegetarians the vegetable fried rice and drunken noodles were amazing!
Amazing Restaurant and Cocktail Bar My friends and I decided to visit Thai Taste Lounge in Reigate because we hear that this was the place to be and I before I visit, I wanted to check out the reviews. I must say that I am very glad I did not only go by reviews. This place is amazing the Staff was lovely, the food was great, everyone around seems to be enjoying the food. After the meal we went down to the cocktail bar where the DJ was playing music we were looking for in Reigate. I used to have a small business before I know 99% of people who have a wonderful experience don't bother to leave reviews a positive and sometimes it only takes 1 negative review to cause a small business everything. I always say if you have a good time show love by leaving reviews that tells the business and staff how well they done every little helps. I also say if you have a bad review to leave sometimes is best to address the issues with the business you might find that your review will helps improve to service the business provides the customers and drives them to be better. Let's all help to support our small businesses and not let them go out of business.
