BEST ASK ITALIAN I'VE EVER BEEN TOO! I have been to many ask Italian restaurants and I must say the quality of food and customer service was the best I have experienced. I strongly recommend this restaurant and would definitely enjoy coming here again. I had the lasagne which was flavourful and filling and as starter I enjoyed cheese fondu sticks which also had a lot of flavour.

Absolute disaster of an evening. Table for 8 on a quiet Thursday night, the first 2 guests to arrive weren’t offered any drinks for over 20 minutes until the rest of the group arrive for a birthday dinner. Starters were good, but that is the only positive element of the review. The main course was for the most part, vile. The prawns in the seafood pasta seemed almost inedible with a spongy texture, and the child’s spaghetti tasting as if the pasta had been sitting in stagnant water for a considerable amount of time, with a powder-like taste and texture. A waiter named Josh had served our table and had been very unaccomidating and rude when polite complaints were made. We emphasised that we understood that the outcome of the food was not the fault of the waiter himself, but of the chefs. Josh then continued to carry an arsey attitude about with him, walking away mid-sentence. Once he arrived with the bill, we re-informed him of a discount code we previously told him about at the beginning of the evening, this appeared to agitate Josh, causing him to scrumple up the receipt and abruptly walk away once again. This attitude continued with snide comments until a member of the party confronted the waiter informing him that she doesn’t appreciate the attitude he had been carrying and the comments he had been making. The manager then got involved and appeared to be less than helpful and allianced herself with the waiter. After agreeing to pay the bill, through the windows from outside of the restaurant, we could see the waiter and manager laughing and making ‘jeering’ actions to both the remaining customers and our party through the window. Completely unacceptable behaviour from staff and management with a bonus of stomach churning food.

Good food and excellent staff. We weren't happy with one of our sides and our waitress took it off the bill immediately with no problems

We have been here before several times, but it would appear that it has gone down in both service and food. My son requested extra cheese on his pizza and it was uneadible and it was left. We did complain but it was thought funny and we were still charged. Booked early table but still very long wait for food. It is a shame as this was a very good evening out
