Been a few times with work and grabbed takeaway. It's a nice location staff are friendly and food is tasty with a good selection which always makes it hard to decide what to have. Have always had good food here. Sometimes a bit of wait but we are in a group and staff are a bit slow with the table service so a bit if a wait to replace drinks but on the whole a great place to go.

We arrived at 4pm without a booking as the online information said you dont need to book during the day and it's usually very quiet at that time. The staff seemed to be having a meeting and said they were closed when we walked in so they told us to come back at 5pm. Which we did. Then we were told that we would not have long to order and eat because they had bookings coming in at 6. They hurried us the whole time and gave us a feeling of not being welcome or indeed a priority customer because we hadn't booked. The staff glared at us throughout the meal as we were the only customers there. I later discovered on visiting the restroom there was a lot more seating downstairs. I don't understand why they really that pushed for seating. Were they honestly going to get a stampede at 6 pm of 40+ customers? I doubt it. Really not happy with how we were treated. This may have been a bad day but still no excuse. Left us feeling if it could have been a racial thing as we were black. We wont be back there. The food was good though. And not all the staff were rude. The two young waitresses that served us were lovely despite the glaring.

Great place to eat. Lovely service, food and environment. Great range of dishes. Quite a range of portion sizes so worth checking. Jamal gets a mention for service!
