One of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time. The chippie is very unassuming, almost doesn’t look nice from the outside. Appearances are very deceptive! Service is friendly and quick. The food is fantastic. Fish is full of flavour in a lovely crispy batter and the chips are equally as good. Fluffy and crispy and awesome. Highly recommend for any lovers of fish and chips! Best in the area.
Bought 2* medium cod and a large cod, Saveloy and two small chips Friday evening. Very impressed the chip portions were huge, the medium cod was a good size and large definitely large. If we lived in Reigate we would definitely visit again, alas we were just passing through
Really excellent cod and chips. Surprisingly good. The new ownership seems to have turned this into a gem. There is competition in the fish and chip market in Reigate again. Which has got to be good news. Cheaper than the competition btw
I rang up to check when the food will arrive and was first asked why, then when I said it was late I was told “so what”. Whoever this was said he was the OWNER of this business and I should learn some respect for people who cook my food. This is so unprofessional and whoever this guy was made me feel very angry at the treatment I was getting. People like this should not work or answer the phone to customers. I hope I get a reply from the actual owner. Will never buy food from again, it tasted stale like it was yesterdays batch
I've had sausage & chips 3x from here. The first two times were mediocre. The third was the worst chippie I've ever had. It seems to be under different management each time, and opens at weird hours. I don't know if the place is a money laundering front or what but I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for fish & chips.Food: 1/5

If you’re gluten free then Holmesdale Fish and Chips is the dream chippy! Every time the fish and chips are amazing with proper batter which we all know is almost impossible to find. Calling up a little way ahead makes it quicker to collect; all cooked in separate fryers, gf batter - perfect! Owner Sergio is great and I’d say get in quick before the secret gets out and there’s queues down the street
Holmesdale did a great job supplying fish & chips to our squash club Christmas party, delivering even in the snow!
Lovely fish and chips and battered sausage. Very good portions and price not too bad when having a treat. Delivery is very quick too.
Holmesdale Fish bar recently provided the evening meal for a group meeting that I organised. It was reasonably priced, it arrived on time and the people really loved it. I will use them again.
