Never a duff meal here. Nicely prepared food and Sandford Orchards Scrumpy on tap. Heaven on earth.
As a place to get away, Red Lion is perfect. With the two children, we loved it. The apartment felt private, it was super clean, staff were awesome and we all felt looked after. We’ll be back as a little getaway.....have a look at this bad boy breakfast!

The Red Lion has just reopened 1 Sep. Sunday lunch was fantastic. Staff were very friendly, it all felt covid secure, and the food was significantly better and the portions much larger! than typical pub Sunday lunches. Definitely one of the best, thank you.
