Really friendly member of staff. We only stayed for one drink before the football, but it was a good visit and really reasonably priced. We'll be back for sure.Service: 5/5
Unlikely to be too much atmosphere when you're the only one watching football on a weekday evening. Much improved decor from previous visit a few years ago.Service: 4/5
Nice clean pub recently redecorated good beer good price has a pool table and sports on TV.Service: 4/5
Fantastic pub. Five stars. Ran an event here with 30+ people in attendance and the staff were incredible. They were very generous and helpful throughout the night. Amazing karaoke setup and reasonably priced drinks. Would recommend to anyone in Exeter.
This has to be the worst ever pub in Exeter in terms of it being so drab. We called it the 'sunshine indoors' pub as it was furnished with bbq tables?? To top it all they allowed some foul mouthed person to parade up and down the bar area on his mobile. They apparently served food but 'no menu' to view. Who owns this pub?? Invest some money and sort out what could be a good pub and serve the community.
Nice little pub. Very friendly staff.
This pub really did amaze me in every aspect. The maître d' was highly knowledgable on the wide selection of local ales as well as the inspirational selection of home cooked pub grub. The scenery surrounding the pub was stunning and just a stones throw from the historic city centre it makes a realistic option for a quick escape from the city. You can tell that this pub has serious family heritage and the care that goes into all things to do with this pub is highly evident. Considering the troubles of the recent year, the landlords have clearly put considerable effort into providing an al fresco dining experience. Well done all involved.
Fantastic atmosphere and great friendly staff I was with my mate dave and we've had a good night we've been coming down here for a few years now and it's really the only place we want to choose in Exeter to have a great night out with mates or just to chill out.
we had a gorgeous roast dinner today ...we had choice of 4 meats and had a staggering 8 veg on our plate!! absolutely gorgeous....we've already booked for next week xxx
Stoped here for Pee brake 0n our jerney home from plymouth to Swindon. Very helpful, polite and friendly family pub. The food is good and kept at a reasonable price at £5 for a Sunday roast. If you like a Larger or there's plenty of that at £2 a pint.
