Absolutely love this place. I met friends and family for my birthday night here and the staff couldn't do enough for us. There were about 30 of us and everyone loved Henry's bar. The beer garden, bar and karaoke were just brilliant. The staff are the best. Thank you for a great night.Service: 5/5
Excellent food and service. The 2 plates for £15 is brilliant and it is really good well presented food. Definitely worth a visit. Can mix and match with the basket meals. Excellent pint of Exmoor Gold
My new local since moving, cheap drinks! Best deals in town on the 3 for 12! Staff are always great, friendly and fast to serve. Lovely locals and people of all sorts! Can get very busy with the students when they’re there but you’ll still get served faster than most pubs with half the punters. Great pub, glad I’m so close

A traditional English Pub. Great mix of locals and students. Lively at times and great people behind the bar Kat you're a superstar. Owned by a father/son team that, together with the others behind the bar, make it a good place to have a drink, catch up with friends, make new ones, and play traditional pub games ....Service: 5/5
Amazing little pub just outside of heavitree! Gets a little wild on a Saturday but I have yet to experience a bad night there.Service: 5/5
Nice traditional style pub with a good mix of locals and uni students. Drinks are relatively expensive if bought individually but they offer a multi-buy deal where you can buy three drinks for a reasonable discount. If you don't want all three at once they will give you a token you can redeem another time. The central bar with service on both sides is a nice feature that isn't seen in pubs much any more and adds a lot to the charm.
Do not recommend! I had an awful experience, the staff are drunks who can not control their tempers and will randomly attack customers for minor issues, the few times I have gone to this pub the owner and staff have been extremely inebriated and aggressive. They also will give drinks away for free without checking IDs, this place needs to be shut down before anybody gets hurt.
Great atmosphere and great drink selection. Perfect for a few drinks!Food: 5/5
