A big thank you to publicans Roger and Barnaby for hosting a special reception after my mother’s funeral. They made us feel so welcome with friendly smiles and a roaring fire. Such a warm and cosy country pub with a touch of glam! Staff were all ready with an excellent buffet and drinks all lined up as mourners walked through the door. Absolutely first-class. My mum would have loved it!

Wonderful local pub – hadn't been here with the new owner (or even the one before that). It's miles ahead of how it used to be a few years ago. Completely refurbished, with a lovely and friendly owner, and fantastic food at reasonable prices.

The food, selection of drinks, and hospitality were excellent, thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Would recommend this pub and restaurant

Had a fantastic meal with my father,mother my husband and myself ! Beautiful food ... could not fault 1 thing ! What made the evening was the fantastic host and his pups xxx would recommend to anybody !!! First class service

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Sunday roast was delicious, would highly recommend the place. New decor looks really nice.
