Indian restaurant and food as it used to be. That's not to imply that it's old-fashioned but simply feels authentic. The food is delicious but slightly hotter than you might be expecting. Being one of the old houses in the Old Town it is quite cramped but that adds to the atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

So glad we found this little place. A cosy small restaurant. Lovely food. Nice waiters. Its our first choice for an Indian meal now. Booking recommended

Really nice food that tasted fresh and service was really helpful. Nice atmosphere. Probably one of the best curry houses in the area.

Been going here now for 17 years, same people running it still. Discovered it after returning from my first trip to India, and lamenting the lack of decent Indian food in the UK. I need not have worried. Food consistently the best available in the area by far, great choice for veggies (I became one 2 years ago, and do miss some of their amazing meat dishes, especially the lamb shank!). Superb value and everything freshly prepared. There is no better place to have a great Indian meal. Friendly but unpretentious. Strong recommended.
