Had a family 'fathers day's celebration here today.nWe all had roasts which were very generous portions and delicious.nWe also managed to fit in a pudding!nLovely place and exceptionally clean

A nice pub with really good food. The staff were great and very helpful.  Drinks choice was great too.  The only downside is the pay and display car park. I would expect that to be covered as part of your meal.

My wife and I decided to have a nice long weekend and the Red Lion was perfect due to its location. The pub itself was pleasant and inviting, Shame about the hotel side of it.nnI felt like the hotel had been forgotten about due to its slight run down appearance.nnThe room could do with an update, also it did not help my stay that our neighbours enjoyed the delights of shouting at there dog in the early hours of the morning and a certain smell.

Spent a week here due to work commitments and can not fault my stay. Room was comfortable, breakfast was top class and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend

Gem of a place this. Big car park at the back / down the side, remember to input reg for length of stay, lovely old building but well maintained, had a single room which was good size with double bed in it. Food here is excellent, the poached eggs on smoked bacon on sourdough were superb for breakfast. Will definitely be coming back here.
