A fairly run down looking hotel. Quite disappointing considering the staff are excellent. Breakfast was good with a variety of options and drinks. King size bed was comfortable and shower was ok. Just looks and feels tired!

Arrived for lunch after our journey from Somerset. Restaurant all ready for our party. Great food and great staff. Thanks for ending our holiday on a brilliant high.

Its about to have a refurb which it seriously needs! Its used for workmen and its got a busy gym, its not nice for a break, as lacks atmosphere and doesn't have a decent bar area. The food was very pleasant.

Rooms where clean, but old fashioned. Bathroom was again clean, but very poorly mantained. Website States the is a gym/health centre, welcome guide in the room state's the same but this has been closed since 2016 (notice on the old gym door state's this) yet there are signs thoughout the hotel directing you to the gym. Disappointed about this. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The reception is located awkwardly with no signs to direct us around the back of the building. The beds were comfortable but we didn't get much sleep as it was a noisy hotel with noisy doors. The decor was outdated and walls were peeling. The room was ok apart from the incredibly irritating squeeky bathroom door and the gab between the wall and the bathtub. Breakfast was not too great. The food was low quality and lacked taste with no eggs. I had to get up to find a member of staff as we were not offered tea or coffee, yet a couple who sat down 15 minutes after us were. Overall quite disappointed with our stay.
