Welcome reception and staff were pleasant. I stayed in room 3 and for the price paid it's fine. My main bugbear was that there was no mattress protector that I could find. Rooms are basic and furnished simply. The bathroom was done to a good standard and clean. Mattress is old so don't expect a good sleep if you're fussy. I'd happily stay here again at the price paid if I'm working in the area.

It's cheap, don't expect The Ritz. Room was clean and warm, bathroom was clean. Shower was warm and powerful (albeit designed for a very short person - my ass looks amazing after doing those squats to wash my hair). You get what you pay for, great location and a cheap price. Don't expect the world and you won't be disappointed.

Clean bed and a hot shower within walking distance to the train. Friendly staff. WiFi does not reach the rooms so less one star.

The hotel has a restaraunt called Indopak @ Stoneycroft. It’s one of the worst experiences I’ve had. £7.50 for kebabs listed as 6 pieces. That’s exactly what you get 6 pieces the size of a 50p coin. 2 kebabs broken into 6 pieces. Daylight robbery. When complained dealt with by a rude lady (same receptionist as hotel) who had the the audacity to actually make an offensive gesture as I left. Don’t go to this highly disrespectingand shabby joint.

Well I have stayed at better budget hotels. Booked a twin room, only got a double bed. Our bed was itchy not sure if it had bed bugs. breakfast is served late on weekends (not explained on arrival) we tried opening the breakfast room door to be only met by a rude woman to say sign says on the door it's at 8am. We didn't wait and left as swiftly as possible. Plus side was that heater was on in the building so you wouldn't get cold. This place is suitable for those who won't be sleeping in. Would book elsewhere.
