1 star hotel im afraid, the room was very unhygienic with spiders in the bathroom and toilet liquid still left in toilet. There was a bad smell in the room and the cot provided for the baby was unacceptable and extremely hard for her to sleep. We left after 1 hour of checking in requesting for support from management but they didn’t provide any
Flexistay does exactly what it says on the tin, nothing fancy, just a straightforward stopover for a solid night’s sleep. Parking is a bit of a lottery, with only three spots, so get in early or be prepared to find a space off-street nearby not too bad if you look around. Rooms are decent for the price, some have windows, some just a skylight, so you might feel a bit boxed in, but honestly, it’s fine for a night or two. If you want a simple, affordable stay and don’t expect luxury, it does the trick.
Very unhelpful, rude check in. Room was freezing no window except a small ceiling window the bathroom was dirty. The smell in the stairwell and room was disgusting. I booked 2 nights but left the next morning. I tried to cancel/ get some refund but nothing. Advert says free parking but only for 3 cars, had to park on a residential street. Would not recommend
Great location alongside to the co-op on London Street if that helps!nCould have had a few touches added and things repaired. I'd stay again, but I would not pay £88 for it again. At that price the bedside lamp wouldn't have been smashed, the toilet roll holder, wouldn't be screwed on one side only, the toilet wouldn't be stained inside, the waterfall shower wouldn't have bits missing, and the walls wouldn't be full of black scuff marks... at £40 I'd be ok with it. However that was just one room, and others could have been miles better. The staff were very responsive and helpful when the remote didn't work and we needed more towels. Polite and courteous.nLocation was handy ama only a mile and a half from uni digs. No pubs within walking distance, unless a 30 minute trek is to your liking! I have a bad knee, but I was driving so it wasn't a problem. The co-op and takeaway which share the building, was very handy for extra coffee and milk.
My partner and I stayed here for one night on the 15th Feb 2025..nRoom was clean upon arrival bed was comfortable pillows was to hard for us..tv worked very well.. really do get what u pay for..but me and my partner said we would stay her again..close to city centre, coop next door and fast food place is very nice good price too.nOnly thing I say is walls to room could to with a lick of paint
