Had a nice short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpfully. The hotel is exactly what you would expect from an old 3 star hotel in the centre of Crawley. One negative point was the view from the relatively small bedroom window.

Easy to reach, quiet comfortable room, easy to park. For a pre-flight bed you don't need any more. In addition to the hotel grill and restaurant there's a range of alternatives in easy walking distance. Purple Parking managed to book the room for the wrong month but wasn't a problem. Although the unbooked room we were given was sold to someone else later- much to their surprise. It surprised us too when the other guest let themselves in. I'd be happy to stay again but not in an unbooked room.

To be completely honest when my partner and I got to the hotel we immediately thought it was a bit dodgy. There were people going in and out of a house in the car park and using the hotel as a cut through to the high street. We sat and watched this for a while from the safety of the car. We entered the hotel and want.to the desk and waited for the receptionist to finish months phone (to be fair, he probably thought we were passing through). He was pleasant and check us in, giving us directions to the room. When we found the room through the maze of corridors it was a nice size, comfy, had a good size fridge (which turned out that only the light worked in it). Room was good, bathroom nice too. Very close to lots of nice places to eat and supermarkets to get bits and bobs. My partner slept well, I however was kept awake by the screams throughout the night of late drinkers, other guests and dodgy locals. This didn't stop at any point and was still going on at 6am. I paid £49. I'd definitely stay again if it was £40.

The guy at the desk was really helpful and moved us to a room that was better for our family. Rooms were decent and beds were comfy. I would stay here again.

It's a good hotel for a quick stop. The decoration in my room was a little dates, nevertheless clean. Great value for money.
