You've got here a quintessential rustic British BnB roughly 10-15 minutes drive from Gatwick airport. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Located in a wooded area, it seems to me a converted farmhouse with about 11 rooms on offer.nnVery homely, this venue would be ideal say for a large wedding party. There's ample free parking at the front for roughly 10-12 cars. Breakfast either a full or light English is cooked to order. Residents indicate the night before when they prefer it. You can specify times up to 9 am. The hosts are happy to accommodate early checkin if rooms are available.nnCheckout must be by 10 am. There are a few pubs within a stones throw if one desires a meal or tipple. The ones I tried open from lunch time so you might want to bank on the in-house breakfast offering.nnA note for those with mobility challenges: there is no lift available, and the staircase is rather steep. If you've such issues you may desire to recieve guarantee of a room downstairs or opt for another hotel.
One of the best place we have every stayed. Its difficult to say which is better, hospitality or the place. Area is in the woods. Rooms are well furnished, good quality. Free access to fridge. Feels like home. Plenty of space for parking with electric charging. Staff will make you feel at home.
We stayed here as we had a very early flight from Gatwick the next morning and it is very nearby. The owner is so lovely and extremely helpful. The room was gorgeous and very clean. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to stay close to the airport.
Real close to Gatwick airport. We had got in real late the night before but Jon set us up for the self check-in, really quick & easy, thanks Jon! He also arranged the shuttle to get us to airport in good time for our early morning flight...nWe left too early to get the breakfast but there was coffee & cookies in our room so that was great!
you can not go wrong booking here. I came off a long flight and arrived early. They very kindly allowed my access to the lounge room to wait and made me a brew. I also booked the wrong day soo tired! Which, they rectified for me at no additional cost. The location is superb for gatwick airport and Nick who attended to me was super kind. The place looks clean and bright and a very fair price for a safe, clean, quiet environment.
