I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years, and it never disappoints. This is a superbly managed hotel and I'm a tough customer as used to work as a concierge in 5* hotels.nnNothing is too much for the absolutely wonderful staff. They go above and beyond. We stayed on an extremely busy bank holiday weekend, whereby the hotel was fully booked. The restaurant was struggling with capacity - but the staff handled it fantastically. There was ample staff, who were extremely calm, polite and helpful. What could have easily been stressful chaos, remained an easy and nice experience.nnWe stayed for four nights and this was our only holiday this year. With covid and setting up a business it's been tricky to have quality time.nnThank you so much to all the staff at Holiday Inn Crawley for making this time so restful and enjoyable. We will be back again. Keep doing what you are doing
I was pleasantly surprised by this 3* hotel. The basics were very good; there's tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The room was clean and spacious with a powerful shower. Breakfast was included in the price. The breakfast room tends to get really busy, so you have to be quick otherwise some items run out. I'd recommend this hotel for short stays.
Very convenient for The Hawth, a quick 5-10min walk up the road. It is a basic no frills hotel, but very clean and tidy, with good decor throughout.nYou do get lovely fluffy clean towels, a comfortable bed with lovely fresh linen, a general body/hand/hair wash in the bathroom, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities in the room, and a good self service breakfast in the morning. Rooms generally aimed at business people with desk, and plenty of plug points! Same old hotel issue with position of mirror full length to plug point if you want to use your own hair styling equipment, you'll need a long cord nDisabled access room is large and has very good wet room with grab rails and seat.nBeware that the panic/call switch is placed right next to the light switch on the bedside , be assured though that response is quick!nNice smiley helpful staff throughout, at reception, housekeeping, and kitchen.nWe had been invited to a drinks and nibbles reception by the Manager the evening we were there but couldn't attend, nice touch, no idea if that is a regular occurrence though.nEasy bus access from here to town and Gatwick airport. Big car park, and there is a Harvester on site.nWill use again.nI booked through booking.com.
For this style of budget hotel we had a great stay. Wonderfully friendly staff, lovely comfortable bed, room was clean and recently decorated. Breakfast was good, although sausages were obviously budget.
What a super stop if you are flying out of Gatwick. The hotel is clean and staff were very welcoming.nThe reason I booked here was for the park and sleep option. I could leave my car in the secure car park and collect it on my return. When I worked out flights and connections this option made it far easier to arrange and very comfortable too.nThe breakfast was very good and was ample to our needs. The coffee could be improved on, but if that was my only gripe then I think we did okay.nThe taxi was a bit more than expected, but then it's to an airport and back, but I do think the bus service was good enough, just that we didn't have time to use it and our return saw us travelling for nearly 24 hrs so we took the easy option back to collect the car.nCertainly would use again.
