This doctors surgery has been wonderful to my family and I over the years. The staff are brilliant, always managing to fit an appointment around my work schedule! Dr Morgan is especially thorough, he listens and is really easy to talk too! We’re very lucky in Rainford to have a practice of this standard. Thank you!
Brilliant Health Centre! All staff are extremely helpful, assertive and caring. We are always offered a range of appointment times to fit in with childcare, work etc. The E-Consultations are followed up promptly and our minds are always put at ease. All reception staff are always warm and welcoming. Doctors and nurses reassure and fully explain all information and possible procedures but most of all they care and show empathy. We couldn’t ask for a better service from our family Doctors.
This doctors surgery has been absolutely amazing to me and my family. No ask is ever to big and they are always happy to accommodate us no matter what. We can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us, they’re always putting our mind at ease with the children and have such a speedy turn around to our health queries. Dr Morgan in particular has supported me and my family through more then you could ever imagine and still continues to, although this is not excluding the other doctors and nurses as they have always helped when our doctor is not available. In times when GPs are under constant criticism I feel our surgery has continue to provide an outstanding service and we are lucky to have such a person centred GP in our village.
The staff at the doctors are lovely. They're always so helpful when you ring for advice or to book an appointment, even during these awful times when everything is so much harder and there is a lot more pressure on doctors. The e-consultation form is so useful, I have always had a reply the next day and always been seen face-to-face. Dr Craig is brilliant, he always puts me at ease and goes of out his way to explain what the illness may have been caused by, which makes me feel relaxed and reassured - no illness is too small or unimportant. You're doing great guys, thank you for all your hard work :-!
So far so good, I have just moved to these doctors and have found them excellent. I had a telephone conversation within 1 week where I was waiting 1 month at my old place.
I appreciate GP surgeries are busy but I was taken aback by the rudeness of the male receptionist who clearly has difficulty dealing with patients who may query what he says. Just because he doesn’t know how to do something doesn’t mean it isn’t a service that is provided by more experienced receptionists. He accused me of being “irate” when I questioned his response. I was the least irate person and felt it was his tactic dealing with patients by trying to disempower them. As I expected he didn’t follow up my request.
Honestly, the staff are really helpful and treat every patient with dignity and respect. They're also really flexible in terms of making appointments at last minute. A couple of times I've needed to rush to the doctors with various concerns regarding either my family, or myself, and Rainford Health Centre was incredibly understanding and reassuring to us. I believe once, and only once, I had to wait for a while to be seen, but I think this was due to the patient before me potentially in need of urgent health care, so naturally health professionals would have prioritised that case, but that just sensible to me. Keep it up, Rainford Health Centre, you're alright by us : x
Have tried to call on multiple occasions to get results I have needed from a blood test. on my current phone call I have been 'number one in the queue' for the last 34 minutes yet still no one answers. The last time I got through, the receptionist the elderly lady was incredibly abrupt and told me ''why are you ringing, you need an appointment. Thats not for us to do' and told me to do that online and put the phone down on me. I know that this isn't true as both my brothers who attend different doctors have had their results straight away when they asked for them over the phone. I wouldn't recommend based on current experience.
I have had overall positive experiences with them. They have always been polite and professional. Whilst there has been a single instance of a prescription sent to the wrong place they were apologetic and quickly worked to resolve the issue.
Hopeless Doctors who dont seem to be able to grasp simple things like email/any referal system. I have been let down every time when promised something. They have all the scruples and pr ofessinalism of a dodgy second hand car dealer and possibly the rudest receptionists ever. There is no excuse for this place.
