This station is served by southern & Thameslink services. There is side entrance for wheelchair users on both platforms. The ticket hall is very small. Toilets are available at this station.
The city was well lit. It had a great view as soon as you exit the train station.
Southern Rail glad I don't have to use them anymore, they can't ever run a proper service
This station is busier than the towns second station, Wivelsfield, with around 12 trains an hour. This station is also served by Gatwick Express services, has disabled access to both platforms, waiting shelters on the north of both platforms, a small cafe on the northbound platform, a manned office at the top of the station and ticket barriers on every entrance and exit. Exit here and walk a couple minutes to reach the town centre
It's always so grey and dingy here even in the middle of summer. Perhaps that's just a reflection of my past commuting life. The coffee shop is quite nice for getting out of the cold in the mornings.
Staff act like they have been dragged to work. But there is one that is really nice so 2 stars for him. Southern=cancer
The people who work there are extremely rude! 1 star is me being nice, sort out your customer service skills!! Very disappointing.
A couple of the staff are rude, but others are lovely.Station very quaint but toilets need cleaning. Three weeks later and they still need cleaning !
It is a train station from where trains come and go. It is not as nice as other train stations but better than Wivelsfield.
Station is grimy and usually untidy. Roof leaks and drains are blocked on platform 2.
