Brighton Train Station is a great place to catch a train in Brighton. It's not too busy, and a train to London and Heathrow Airport runs every 15 minutes, which is really convenient. The station is clean and tidy, making it a pleasant place to wait for your train. During Brighton FC home games, the station can get quite busy, but it's still manageable. There are eight platforms, and the station has facilities for people with disabilities, which is good to see. Inside the station, you'll find toilets, coffee shops, W.H. Smith, and M&S, so you can grab a snack or a magazine while you wait for your train. Overall, Brighton Train Station is a convenient and well-equipped transportation hub in Brighton, making it easy for locals and visitors to travel to and from the city.
Brighton station is served by Thameslink Southern and Gatwick express trains. With services going to Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Portsmouth Harbour and many other destinations too. This station is always busy especially when Brighton Fc have played and any events taking place. There are eight platforms here and disabled access is available here. There are toilets coffee shops and M&S all inside the station. The platforms are long and the station was tidy. Lots of ticket barriers to use here but can get so busy anytime of the day.
Big city with a big heart. Good place for your shopping needs, good for those random visits. Highly recommended.
Came too visit on the 30th of June, Apart from the weather it was a great day out with a huge selection of shops & restaurants. There is plenty of things too do & see, Highly recommend visiting the Brighton Palace Pier.
Quite possibly my favourite terminus station in the UK. The station has frequent services spanning across the coast and up the main line. Friendly station staff and a variety of operators.
It's an overall nice station. It's got an M&S for food if you need it, two different coffee stalls, a WHSmith, a PRET, there's a pizza stall right outside the station, the bikepark is quite acccessible and the toilets are quite decent. Great for services to London and other cities in the south east coast of England.
Great train station to all the destinations you need to travel. There are places to get coffee, snacks, drinks and food before you get past the gates to aboard the train. Free WiFi on the trains as well. A nice enclosed area to stay protected from rain and wind when getting on or off the train.
Great location, a few minutes walking from the city crowded and colored center streets, nothing special in the architecture, personnel is helpful, the overall area is not as clean as expected to be though. Good info point and taxi services right next to it.
Pretty good for the end of February. Lovely walk along the front followed by fish and chips. Bliss.
Last three occasions I have arrived the station circa 12.30-12.45 pm toilets have been closed for cleaning and I have had to wait 30 - 40 minutes for them to open. The signs do not advise where there is an alternative for customers who cannot stand about and wait. The actual building is historic, and architecturally interesting .The staff mainly very helpful considering how busy this station is. Signage for train services good. Concourse clean. At least one does no longer have a 20p fee and a turnstile for the toilets ,which has made the queue shorter. Some doors to cubicles are often faulty and often toilet paper is lackingalways have some in your bag if you "visit " but to arrive to NO facility with no indication as to where one can be found!!!!!!! I resorted to walking a diversion route via Churchill Square Shopping precinct rather than waiting..
