Basic station about 6 trains an hour. Wheelchair access on southbound platform only is really inconvenient.

Twice in 4 months I have paid for a weekly ticket from the machine on the southbound line and no ticket was dispensed. At 05.40 the ticket office is closed. I informed southern to be told the machine shows no fault and the transaction was successful. Absolutely disgusted....

ticket office is closed most of the day so you don't get much help with buying tickets if you don't understand the ticket machines

Some dedicated staff do a great job in maintaining this station but less trains every year :-(

After climbing what feels like a mountain to get to the platforms it"s 50/50 if the ticket office is open. If you need accessible access northbound go to another station.
