SHAME ON YOU- QVC TV I spent £150 on massage mat. They had a offer of a £15 voucher with this, which equates to 10% off. If you saw this offer on the high street, you would not batter an eyelid. But I thought, it's better than nothing. I was shocked, when I was told, you have to spend another £40 to qualify for this discount, within 1 week. I do not recall the presenters telling you this. At the very least, the promotion is very misleading. I contacted them, they just quoted terms and conditions. Obviously they were not interested. One very disappointed, regular customer. Be very careful when you order from them. I am on a state pension. I saved up for this mat, to alleviate my back pain. I was going to spend the voucher on some chocolate brownies, a little treat for myself. I did explain this to them, but they were not interested. Update Sent this directly to Q.V.C. I gave 5 stars for the product, 0 Stars for customer service. They would not publish, because it did not fit their criteria. I will leave you to draw your own conclusion. I think I would know what it would be. Next time you are thinking about buying a product from Q.V.C. because they are always bragging about their 5 star reviews, which they do on a regular basis. ??????
Great place for the occasional bargain, some things aren't as cheap as you think though. I would always suggest you check all purchases very carefully as there is normally a reason they are there. Staff are pleasant, polite and helpful when required.
Some good value bargains to be had but it is really an horrific experience, feeling like halfway between a jumble sale and a house clearance! All in all, a place you go to for random bargains, not for a gently pleasant shopping experience. Had some well known labels at good prices.
My friend and I try to go once a month, we find the staff helpful and we make a full day ending with lunch before heading home. There are some new bits. And some not so nice as people gets there 30 days wear from some items, such as footwear. Be prepared to rummage. Have fun whilst looking we do.
Brought a exercise chair got home and the back was missing They are closed and will not be opening but if you ring them they will come out and bring the missing item to you. Few years back they sold alot of craft which was amazing the staff are great i did really well from craft didnt matter to me if items were missing or returned got stuff from £38.00 to just £5 shame its closing
A brilliant place if you want a bargain. I had 2 pair of vionic shoes for just over £50. The same ones are £96 a pair on the QVC website and what is even better is you still have 30 days guarantee. My daughter bought a £50 pair of clarkes boots for £15 and at Christmas, I bought 2 cameras for half price saving over £300 plus a 12 months guarantee. Well worth a visit.
Considering they sell returns and discontinued stock, they display it well. Staff are always polite and helpful. You never know what you'll find; gadgets, footwear, clothes, electronics, furniture. Allsorts! There's a jewellery counter at the back of the shop where i have had many a bargain. Highly recommended.
Bought a radio from them. Got it home - completely dead. It turns out that their policy is not to test customer returns it was likely to have been one, before putting them back out for purchase, instead preferring the next unsuspecting purchaser to waste their time and expense in doing that for them. The manager cheerfully admitted that it was possible that all of the electrical goods in their display cabinet might not be working. Obviously I got my money back, but if you've got time, petrol, and parking costs to waste, this is apparently the place to go...
Extremely helpful, patient and polite yet sooo very busy staff made my experience of buying three pairs of footwear for £42 with added discount for being 60 if you visit on a Monday I always shop here when I'm visiting Shrewsbury and will be back again soon. Terrific value for money. I saved approximately £80...what's not to like! Have bought five pairs of various footwear so far from here and next time I'm in Shrewsbury, I'll be back. Nothing like this in Hampshire Thank you again to the lovely men who answered my queries with courtesy and patience. I'll be back. Rita
A Friend and I bought Jewellery Cabinets from your Store on Sunday morning. We could not fault the Staff. I'd called on the way for specific directions for parking. Once we got there we were given help to the Vehicle by Sales Assistant "Troy" as the items were too heavy for us to carry we were given the option to collect from the "Pick up" point but we declined this option as I'm not familiar with this part of Shrewsbury. He was professional, polite and courteous. For the money £50 each the goods were very good value. However, it is advisable to check items instore as one item was a Wall fixed design and not free-standing. Also the other item appears to have a slightly faulty Lock the Box had already been torn open and resealed. Unfortunately I live miles away and so it's not convenient to return the item personally. I'll put the item together and see how it looks then......if still not happy I'll telephone the Store so we can discuss possible options. If score was for Troy I'd say five star. However, because of the situation of the purchases made I'd say three star overall.
