Absolutely amazing. A wonderful track, quirky yet fair. One of the finest settings in UK golf.nnStaff and members were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Great little club house, superb food and good range of drinks.nnWeather was great and certainly added to the occasion.nnHighly recommended, a must visit. Inexpensive green fee, buggy was useful although not essential.nnWill definitely return !

What a fantastic course to visit. James the pro was unbelievably welcoming and accommodating for a late day, bank holiday round with my son. The course is so unique and memorable. Greens were in excellent shape and surprisingly flat given the hilly overall terrain. Can’t recommend it enough!

Played here 2nd February on an extremely windy day 25+ mph and it proved to be one of the toughest tests of golf and fitness I’ve faced but it was strangely one of the most enjoyable. The course itself was in great condition, the fairways and greens were very good for the time of year and the views are nothing short of spectacular. The pro was very welcoming and the lady on the bar was brilliant.nWould highly recommend this course and the £20 to play it was worth every penny. Looking forward to playing again in hopefully calmer conditions. I slept for hours after this round

Loved it , hidden gem don't listen to the low star rating think that was down to some other issues , tough walk but really enjoyable and dry

I played this course as a visitor.nWhat a wonderful course, 16hcp. Course is a challenge played in Aug.nVery well priced.nAverage paced greens.nLovely fairways, kept down by the local sheep.nIf your a little unfit, consider a buggy if they have them? I walked.nThe views are picture postcard, especially when you get past the 3rd.nYou would need to play the course twice to get the best out of your game as there a couple of blind approaches.nI found the members I met friendly, pro shop friendly and course staff friendly.nThe  negative reviews seem harsh and maybe due to some internal discussions over spilling into the world of social media.nIf your thinking of playing as a visitor, fill your boots, you should really enjoy the course.nIf your thinking of becoming a member…….. remember you can’t please everyone nI look forward to playing this course again when I come back to the area.
