Very open and a great outdoor place between Greenwich park and Blackheath village. All year around different activities are held here such as bonfire night, children funfair, farmers market, art showcases, charity races, circus acts and many more.Perfect place for picnic, running or a dog walk. Many eateries and drinking places around. Even the top of the hill you can have a great panoramic view of London city and around.
The large expanse of grassy field creates a particularly serene and refreshing atmosphere. There is also a small pond where various breeds of ducks are roaming about. Located near Blackheath Station, just a short walk from the station, there is also a Sunday market. Nearby is Greenwich Park, so you can easily visit both parks in one trip, making it an excellent destination for a day out on the weekend.
Absolutely stunning. An open spot right next to Greenwich Park, in a very conveniently located spot, and has the most stunning sunsets ever! Highly recommend take a quick stop at if in Greenwich.
Such a great outdoor place found between Greenwich park and Blackheath village. Different activities are held there during the whole year like bonfire night, children funfair, farmers market, art showcases, charity races, circus acts and many more. Check the website of Royal Borough of Greenwich to find what’s coming next. The place is always busy and vibrant, close to the park will find the village shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, pubs. There is a wildlife pond as well very visited and well kept. Definitely worth visiting, highly recommended.
Lovely Heath! Was a great place to come in lockdown, lots of open space and a path running through to the park. There’s a pond that sometimes has adorable chicks on it and is always full of wildlife! As well as this, it’s very near the town which has lots of shops and cafes so there’s stuff for everyone! Recommend coming here!
