Fantastic as ever! Really good to see the mill open for the full tour, albeit with a one-way system in place. The people working there are extraordinarily helpful & knowledgeable, offering a full breakdown of the machinery and processes the workers followed. It's crazy to think about how dangerous it was to work there!
First visit here. Well maintained National Trust site, helpful staff. Very picturesque with recent snow. The children enjoyed the Peter Rabbit Trail. I'm keen to visit again in the Spring.
Lovely walking by the river in to the gardens and a coffee at the cafe. Beautifully maintained by the workers and strong group of volunteers who are always willing to help with directions or names of plants, shrubs or trees. Always a pleasure to be there.
Although closed you can use the huge free car park for all the local walks including Manchester Airport perimeter track via Styal historic village. Bring your own food and drink during lockdown other times plenty of food outlets including Ship Inn in Styal.
Beautiful place for walks with amazing things to look at. I find this place great for mental health. Very therapeutic. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful place, very well maintained and the volunteers are awesome! So knowledgeable and so friendly! The covid measures are also very well organised and don't spoil the experience. Thoroughly recommend!
Lovely walk through a ravine by a river up to the mill. Currently open for take away food and drink. Had a lovely vegan curry pasty.
