Fantastic place to bring the kids. Very spacious with interactive exhibits. 4 floors of fun. The observation tower is only open certain days and times, so check times prior to going if that exhibit interests you. It took us with 2 kids, 7 and 9 almost 3 hrs to enjoy everything.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Amazing museum! We visited from out of town and it looked small from the outside, but it's actually quite expansive. Our group especially loved the space, insect, and human body areas.
We came on free museum day and my son and I had a blast! He is 15 months so I was nervous there wouldn’t be much for him but he loved the sensory room! Lots of different things for him to play and touch. The rest of the museum didn’t have much for him but on this particular day they had tons of vendors and things for children! He did enjoy a stroller ride through the rest of the museum and watching others discover and play. I will definitely be back! So much to see and do here especially as my son gets older!
Took my Grandson he loves dinosaurs. I haven't been there in years. Great day lots of interactive games and play areas for the children regardless of age. I highly recommend and encourage you to visit one of our countries GEMS RIGHT IN OUR OWN BACKYARD
Museum lovers will enjoy this treat in the center of city….observatory deck on roof was open for public…….Very reasonable pricing adults $19…..four floors of exhibits…..staff was very friendly and helpful…..Rachelle front desk was extremely polite and informative…….ample parking…easy to get to off expressway….little traffic in surrounding area…..nice park nearby….
I went in not knowing much about the museum, and was pleasantly surprised by everything I saw! The exhibits were gorgeous and informative. The interactive exhibits were some of the best and most entertaining I've seen. Perfect for a family day or a date! The best part was the EBT card holders get in for free!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Went to the museum for a yelp event after hours. There were other groups there also. It was an adult only event they had drinks inside and a food truck outside chicken and waffles! They had many interactive games they played my daughter won a book for placing a moon over the sun while blindfolded. For the upcoming solor eclipse they had many displays about the planets and solar system besides other excipients that are usually there it's been awhile the place was full but not overly crowded that you couldn't see everything was a great night out for a week night
What a great museum! I was surprised at how much there was to offer at this museum, we will definitely be coming back and participating in some classes for our kids. The employees there were very helpful and calm when there was an evacuation as well.
4 Floors of the wonders of science. Multiple exhibits not functioning but provided enough to keep a toddler busy. My favorites were the gemstone displays and the BUGS exhibit. We were looking forward to seeing what we weighed on different planets but the scale was off.
Lots of learning going on here. The meager gift shop and lack of food other than vending machines is a missed opportunity. The place is great, but there appears to be a mystery swimming pool below the entrance and a lot of locked rooms, which I'm sure were filled with more cool things. My kids liked the magnetic wall, the crane and the dinosaurs. Interesting, to say the least.
