Well lit and safe, really convenient for the Theatres and Rock City and a good evening rate. However the recent strange separation of the car park into two with different entrances made us late for our show. We were helped by parking host Liam who was amazing and sorted out our ticket for us so we could get parked and off to the show . Without him we would have had to pay twice and been even later. Thanks Liam!
Yeah very good car park, but the price is to expensive for 6 hours £15.00. Personally I think car parking should be affordable for all, this would help all retailers and restaurants. For example in Newcastle there no charge in some car parks after six.
I payed for my parking online thinking it will be a lot easier as I knew I was gonna be rushing around etc. Unfortunately I wasn't expecing for it to be so complicated- when it was time to leave , I was on Level 1, I scanned the ticket I was given assuming it was all registered to it as the registration number appeared on it but It wasn' working. I asked fro help and been told to go on level to scan my ticket. I then had to reverse, asking ppl behind be to allow me to do that...was only able to go up one other level. not to 6 where I needed to. Went back again to the barrier thing to ask for help, the lasdy explained to me that I had to walk/get the lift to level 6, scan my ticket, then come back to level 1 where my car was parked. So dissapointed! I don't understand why things aren't made easier for us to park and leave. it prob took me about 10 mins just to be able to exit the car park. Surely there should be cleared information on the email sent, clearee sings to explain all these or a scanning machine on each level. I am honestly dissapointed. Other than that the car park would be a great place, well set-up, clean and very spacious.
I prebooked online for an evening due to visiting the theatre. I arrived 10mins early for my slot and I was charge an additional £2. I may as well have parked at any of the other car parks for that price, it completely loses it's selling point.
Easy to book online, well lit and safe, close to playhouse and only £7 for the evening, so easy with NPR too, straight in and out with no hassle, will definitely use again.
Terrible parking. One of the worst I've seen in my 22 years driving and I am known to be a good driver with any size vehicles and big cities are familiar to me. The facility is new and clean but the entrance and exit are extremely narrow and I damaged an alloy wheel going out of it. If you are slightly on the wrong trajectory, and I insist slightly, you cannot do any move to correct it so had their useless squared edges island damaging my wheel which judging by the state of said edges is happening quite a lot to users. Never have I damaged my cars, only to get there and be stuck to a point either I touch their hanging bars or make my wheel climb to get out. Terrible parking for any car bigger than a compact. Also talking about the spots, they would argue that the spots are big enough for most cars but might forget you would need to open doors to get out of it. I can't imagine people with children or with 3 doors cars or with mobility issues good luck to get out and in. Such a shame as location is great and price ok but design is awful. Expensive parking of course if you count the damage it can do to your car wheels or door impact on your vehicle while parked.. also maybe instead of having 2 lanes on entrance and exit judging be the size of the parking one was enough just put 2 machines on the one lane if it's in case a machine is out of order. Just saying.
Bloody nightmare!! The only payment station is located up on the 6th floor, and the queue to use it was almost 20 minutes long!! The entrance and exits are ridiculously narrow!! Absolutely avoid, there are far better car parks!
Used this car park whilst going cinema which is 5 minutes walk down the road which is handy in a busy city like Nottingham. Love the security shutters and door systems which really out confidence in leaving your car there for a long period of time. A tad expensive but based on convenience and level of security £10 for 3.5 hrs ain't that bad
Good car park wish you could validate prepaid booking on thistle level
This Car Park is one of the best in Nottingham City Centre. The attendants are amazing especially Fiona who is extremely helpful and friendly. You can see that she takes pride in her work. Liam was also really helpful. You are lucky to have these working for you.
