I use this car park quite a bit, when I'm visiting that part of town. Easy to access off the Maid Marion Way. A 5 minute walk to the shopping area, and only 2 minutes away from the castle. I've read recent reviews about the car park being run down and a bit smelly, but on my last visit it had been cleaned up and renovated to some extent. The parking charges are ok, on a par with any other city centre parking. The only downsides for me are the tight access/egress ramps which wind and snake around and catch your wheels if you have a large car, and also the fact that the way in and out of the car park is the same route, which makes it difficult if cars are coming in and going out. Passing is very awkward, and completely different to the usual one way system used in most multi-storey car parks
Filthy car park. Glass and open rush as you walk out of stairs. No signs for pay stations later found it at barriers of exit. 2 hour for £12. Much cheaper car parks around area use them instead
It is one of the more expensive car parks in the city centre but it is well placed for old market Square and you can almost always get a space. The stairwell is a little dingy and can be hard to find if you are unfamiliar it is only the stairwells marked exit that you can actually use, the other one is a fire escape and the lifts have been broken routinely for a while.
Awful! The tiniest parking spaces possible. Two thirds have pillars making the already tight spaces even tighter. Expensive too. Avoid if you can.
Car park is like a helter skelter and is so tight to park in- we were so close to scratching the side of the car on some of the bends. The car park isn’t made for cars of the bigger side! It cost us £7.90 to park for not even two hours which is ridiculous! The stairs also stink of urine and we were having to hold our noses- I felt so sick. Will not be using this car park again.
My goodness, I only went into one store in the area and, without the NCP app, it’s £3.95 for one hour!!! And I thought where I live, which is Lincoln, was bad!!! Two hours is £7.95!!! My fiancé is a Blue Badge holder and there is no discount for a Blue Badge holder, so I wouldn’t bother parking here if you own one of those.
Wouldn't park here ever again. Been sat in traffic inside the car park that long I've missed my appointment and not even parked my car yet. No body can get out the car park and traffic is backed up all the way to the top.
Parked here on the 12/12/2022 3hrs 32 mins costing £15.80 No signs up to tell you the price till your leaving which is at the one pay station there is at a cost of ££3.95 an hour rip of is an understatement
This car park smells really bad especially in the stairwell, when you go in the lift it feels like you will be trapped in there. The fire alarm is always going off seemingly for no reason, for long periods of time sometimes even hours disrupting everyone nearby. I wish i was being dramatic but it is very bad :-
Safe car park, difficult entry. Don't bother prebooking, the system doesn't work
