I would not hesitate to use and recommend Pye Motors. The van we hired was in excellent condition and good value for money but what rates this company is their friendliness, trust and clearly they value their customers. It was so easy to hire the van no endless security questions and good old fashioned trust. Fantastic thank you you made my day so easy.

The quality of customer care from all departments is a credit to Ford Motor Company. Sales are helpful and informative without been pushy. Service are full of knowledge and advice. Parts department are reasonably priced and have recommendations to get the best out of my vehicle. Pye Motors is a family run firm that can easily compete with the big corporations. Their family values towards customers service are not compromised in providing you with the best levels of care.

We are on our 3rd new car from Pye Motors in Morecambe. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are friendly and the deals are always really good. I would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience with Pye Motors earlier this year. Our four year-old Focus developed a rough-running fault. We took it to Pye Motors for convenience, but not without reservations as our experience of their fault finding ability has been quite mixed since we started buying new fords in 2008. I have never been entirely happy with them, but the alternative is the run down to Evans Halshaw in Preston. I was not surpised when they could not identify the fault initially. After a conversation with them I suggested that we could leave the car with them until they were able to figure out what was wrong ('computer says no' is not acceptable whent the car is clearly running like a bag of hammers when cold). After about a week I spoke to them again, and their suggestion was that I take the car away and keep driving it until the fault developed. My wife uses that car to take our children to and from school / pre-school and I was concerned that expecting her to drive it around when it was running badly was not a good idea (or in fact safe). They agreed to keep it. A few days later I was told that the car was ready to be collected. Great! Nope, not great. The car still had the fault and it was only when I queried what work had been done when it came out that actually the fault had still not been found. I was not happy that I was being handed the car back, so insisted they try again. Suddenly, a day later, the fault had been found - injectors. All four needed to be replaced. The cost? About £1600ish. Ouch. At least we have a warranty with Warrantywise. The problem we then had was that I had to jump up and down a bit to get Pye Motors to deal with Warrantywise. In the end they agreed to. I do not know exactly what conversation was had between Pye and Warrantywise, but after much to-ing and fro-ing I was told that Warrantywise wanted a check done on all four injectors. I went to Pye Motors again, as it seemed that we would be required to pay for the analysis. My question - surely the analysis had already been done, after all they had identified that all four injectors needed to be replaced? Ah. There was no engineers report. No results to show me or Warrantywise. To cut a long story short, Warrantywise eventually agreed to pay for the analysis and the result was that, actually, only two of the injectors needed to be replaced. The work was done. My issue here is this: How had Pye Motors determined that all four injectors needed to be replaced and why was there no formal report of the checks they had done in order to make that decision? They were clearly prepared to sting me for four new injectors when only two were required. Why did they not arrange for a proper analysis in the first place? Because it costs money, and they just wanted our car out of their workshop. Four years old with less than 40k on the clock and that was the best they could do. In the end the only way that I was able to get this resolved was by going into the dealership and playing merry hell on least three occasions. Terrible, terrible customer service for a long-standing customer driving a low mileage Ford product. Not, I suspect, what Ford would want from a company bearing their brand. As for them trying to charge for replacement of working parts simply because they were not prepared to investigate properly, I am not sure that is even legal..... Preston it is for our servicing and repairs from now on. What a pain in the ****, but I would not trust Pye Motors as far as I could see them.
