An easily accessible library albeit it being my first time visiting having lived around for a long time. I like that it’s near the town centre so you can grab things to eat and drink nearby. We were alerted about the renovations at the Children’s library section so there were less books on ground and the study room on second floor was closed. The notice board is updated to include news of local happenings even the coding school, movie screening, financial management course etc. I had a buggy and I’m happy to report I could get around easily from the step free access at the entrance/ exit to the fully working lifts taking to all floors. It seems there’s plenty of reading group for babies, toddlers and older children.
Lovely community space, with study areas, a relaxing cafe and free computer usage for 2 hours - in addition to a well stocked library. Also offers good value printing facilities 10p / sheet for B&W, 25p / sheet colour
Easy access and near to Putney Station. Use their offices for client meeting on 2nd Floor. Lift and stair available.
They introduce local artists, events etc which are wonderful. It has a slope entrance and after the renovation, it is easier to access. It is too shame, though, that they now have much less ranges of fiction books than used to be and too many biographies and the stock looks like WH Smith sorry and I find less books I want to read. To me, the content of a library is very important and therefore poorer rating than it used to be.
Nice library with a good selection of books and other things to rent. I mostly use it for the upstairs study space while doing work for my masters degree. Seem like they have classes for children and older people as well but I've never used those services
Nice enough for a local library. Quiet upstairs place to work.. sadly very dirty and in need of a good clean..
Amazing staff, very well stoked library.
Airy...bright. Taken by selection of drawings, art work by temporary entrance. Comfy desk space, was easily able to add some notes about my trips to Italy over the years. Good find.
Very impressed, good facilities, well laid out. Went there for evening event, organised by Friends of Putney Library, with an informative talk about the history of the Library.
All the staff are always very helpful and the place is always clean, comfortable and cozy; using the computer and scanning is free and printing is very cheap
