This gym isn't that bad it's just smaller than the gym near Manchester Road, plus if I remember right there's no windows in the upstairs bit, obviously some people won't mind that but in my previous gyms I liked the fact they had massive windows making it feel less claustrophobic. So it's just what I like. The equipment and everything has always been fine, it just feels small.
Some decent equipment but probably the dirtiest gym I've ever been too! Weights and bits of kit thrown all over the gym. Looked like the place hadn't been cleaned since it's been opened.nAlso probably the worst smelling place I've ever been, certain sections of the gym smelt horrendously of stale BO!
Brilliant service Kayla approached me and invited me to join her class I'm knew to pure gym and wasn't sure how to book classes. Kayla and Alex took time to show me how to use the app, they were both very patient with me and also offered to advise me on PT sessions which I will most likely take up. Thankyou to Kayla for inviting me to her class my legs are like Jelly she definitely pushed me to my limits.. definitely recommend going. Thanks guys. Keeley B.
I went here today on a free trial. The smell was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced . The BO was PUNGENT thinking about it now actually makes me feel a bit ill. Also I feel like there should be sanitiser more readily available as people were not wiping down the grubby equipment after use. It’s a shame really as the ladies area was a nice space, but it just felt very smelly and unclean in the main gym.
Been going for 4 weeks or so now, air con doesn't work or very few units do, leg curl machine has been out of order for weeks now and shows no sign of being fixed. Womens only part upstairs which is great for the women but when a man wants to use a treadmill / cycling machine downstairs its usually occupied by women... makes no sense that we pay the same price as the women with only access to half of the gym.
