I’ve been coming here now for 3 months. It’s always a mess. Staff don’t clear up, members are obviously inconsiderate and no one is trying to resolve the problem. It can be done - the Old Trafford branch is a great example of a tidy well managed gym.
I've been coming here for a while and I like it.nThere's lots of equipment, it's cheap, open all the time. It seems clean.nI've never been one to use a pool or sauna so it's not something I've ever wanted in a gym.nThe only downside I've ever seen is some minor antisocial behavior, people using equipment wrong, and sometimes broken equipment. But that quite rarely happens.nAlso I just wish it was closer to my house, Manchester Road can get pretty busy sometimes.
This is the dirtiest and most unorganised gym group gym I have ever been in. It took me a solid 5 minutes searching for my weight and everything is everywhere. It was a horrible experience. I have never seen a worse gym group gym in my life.
This gym was really messy with weights all over the floor and only about 10% of the people in there unracking their weights. All the equipment was old and needing a refurb. For example, the rubber on the leverage lat pulldown machine was moving freely, which makes it harder to maintain grip during the exercise. I have been to a fair few The Gyms across the country and this is the worst one I have been in so far.
The staff make this gym stand out. It feels like a community, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced or a regular or just coming for the day, the staff are always on hand, always helpful and go above and beyond. It’s the little things like creating the friendly environment and always motivating people and being approachable and friendly that make you feel like you aren’t just another customer but part of a community. A special thanks to Farhan, Josh , Hassan and Gillian who are always on hand and always happy to help.
