It's too early to make a more informed review, but so far, it's good for a first-time gym user. I use the early morning hours before 6:00 AM that are not so busy, and parking is readily available. The gym has a good range of equipment and space, and the Mobile App is helpful when it comes to planning my workouts and booking classes.
Unable to speak to anyone about an issue with my sons membership either in person or on the phone. Phone number is useless just tells you they don't take phone calls! No response to emails either. Still taking our money and meanwhile my son is unable to use the gym. Last resort is to go there again in person and hope someone is actually there to speak to. If not will be cancelling membership and he will join somewhere else. Was thinking of joining myself but having second thoughts now.
TURN. THE. MUSIC. DOWN.nnAfter midnight there's never more than half a dozen people at any given time and thats being generous. Why is the music on full volume every night??? Really off putting - I don't want my music at full volume, and I can still hear the awful muzak over it. Horrible horrible horrible.nnEDIT: THEY TURNED THE MUSIC DOWN!!nnEDIT UPDATE: FOR ONE DAY!
Pooooor gym staff , poooor communications, poor parking, very disgusting service and horrible experience, please don’t join this gymnI had an extremely frustrating experience with PureGym. None of the staff could properly explain where to register my car for parkingI didn’t see any during my 2 months membership No matter how hard I tried to follow the registration process, I kept getting fined.nnIn my first four visits, I received four fines just because I wasn’t aware of the registration process—something that should have been clearly communicated! Even after I figured it out and made sure to register my car every single visit, the fines kept coming.nnThis is absolutely unacceptable. Instead of focusing on my workouts, I have to constantly deal with parking issues that should not exist in the first place. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone who doesn’t want to deal with unnecessary hassle!
Leaving a one star review as I’ve received a threading letter from your car park operators. I pay the premium membership and now a £140 parking fine. This is unacceptable. Gym is okay but too small. Most of the time there are machines that are out of order. Never once saw a member of staff the whole 4 months I was a member. Cancelled tonight. Saw the reviews about the parking and thought it was just people over reacting but I’ve put my reg number in RELIGIOUSLY on EVERY visit. Shame.
