The restaurant is a relaxed atmosphere, excellent travellers menu, right on the A1. Large car park. Those who want a quick snack the cafe is quite big with easy access for wheelchair confined people. Never stayed on the Lodge but it looks clean and well maintained

Location is very handy, right next to A1. We stayed in a family room which got a great view of the fields on the back. Staff are all very helpful and nice as well. Breakfast was good.

Great lodgings. Rooms very clean and WiFi is very stable. Comfy bed and hot shower. Food in the restaurant was lovely especially the breakfast. Also staff were very attentive and pleasant. This place is in a great location close to most of the good photography spots and castles.

Stopped for a quick pit stop on the way home up the A1. As a cafe it was fine and fairly reasonably priced overall. The access road however looks like it's been under sustained mortar attack so take it very easy driving in!

I will recommend Purdy Lodge Truely on fact that Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming Free car park and WiFi Bar with Restaurant We enjoy the stay
