Terrible! We went there for lunch, there was no queue and not too busy. The starter came quickly and then nothing for 40 minutes. My toddler son was falling sleep and was asking us to go home. I compared to the waiter and he said food is coming. Then nothing happened and I was looking at the waiter seeing him not even bothered to go to kitchen to check after my complaint. I will never step into that branch again.

What a wonderful place and what wonderful people.

My father and I have been eating here regularly for the past few months now, not because we have no imagination or that we lack diversity, but because the food and people who work there are so fantastic.

I have always loved Italian food, but so often it tastes manufactured unless you are in an un-touristy part of Italy.  The food here is so extremely tasty and well presented - the portion sizes are more than adequate too.

All of this combined with an extremely friendly, welcoming and charming team of people who remember the detail and preempt our requirements - knowing what drinks we like when we sit down.

Service was incredibly poor and my pasta dish had a black hair in it. When i alerted the waitor he spoke to me like a child and then tried to claim that it was my hair in the pasta. He told me the chef was bald however I saw the chef and although he was bald he had a rather long scruffy beard and was not wearing a beard net. It was obviously his hair. As well as this he was very offended when we tried to use our student discount. The food was very average, the drinks were expensive and the staff were rude and unhelpful.

Slow service. Very slow service, poor portion control for the price and the rissoto was hard/undercooked. All in all, terrible and won't be coming back.

What a shame.. Food not bad but the service was unfortunately appalling. Waited almost 20 minutes for our first drink after ordering, starters and mains arriving at different times. One of the deserts missing and we had to chase up. Taste card incorrectly applied. But the absolute cherry on the cake was the reluctant paying of the bill. I approached the counter after being ignored for a while again, so taking matters into my own hands, and asked to settle the bill. The woman took the receipt did the necessary and took my £147 without ever saying a word, not hello, thankyou, how was it, nothing..... I work in the service industry and have never written a review before, always giving the benefit of the doubt but today was exceptionally poor. Give it a miss.....
