The best thing about this KFC is not the food but the amazing art deco building it is in. Originally part of the British Airways aviation construction factory. This building is pure 1920's glamour with its curved glass windows and streamlined design. This makes for a place you may actually want to take a date to eat at rather than the usual 'cut and run'. KFC has made some recent improvements to it's menu. They are now doing a nice selection of salads and you really cannot knock the value for money, we fed 6 of us for £16.00. Would recommend any traveller to stop off here it's so much more interesting than the other fast food joints located in the 'Galleria' next door.

Excellent service at the Hatfield branch - chains are certainly not all the same and this franchisee definitely raises the bar in standards both of courtesy efficiency of service. The food is well presented and up to higher level of KFC standards, and the staff do a good effort in delivering the requests made for portion types, which in some establishments can seem quickly ignored or forgotten. The decor is excellent in 50s style US diner, with healthy volumes of wood style ceramic tiles and Art Deco frontage. Refreshing and a very good effort and in visits over the past year (including today) they appear to be keeping the standards high.

drive thru is awful. Can’t hear a thing when you order,the turn to line up with the speaker is a nightmare you clip your wheels. Really ignorant rude staff who are never helpful when you get to window. Order was wrong with bits missing AGAIN!! Food was cold and poorly put together had all the chips thrown in the bottom of the bag. Really disappointed this one used to be best but no longer so! Never going back again

I have never seen such an unclean food establishment in all my time, I am very disgruntled. The floor is filthy, you can see marks where a dirty mop has been used to clean. The tables are appalling, stains, food and boxes left out. We complained to the staff about the tables being dirty and they declined to clean them so we had to clean them ourselves as luckily we carry disinfectant wipes. The counter to order and collect food was disgusting it had stains and marks on it, even in the corners of the counter where the drink machine is, you can see the filth. The bins were overflowing which is a health and safety risk and fire hazard. Don't even get me started on the restrooms, if I'm honest the whole facility needs redoing, it is appalling. Even the baby changing facility is disgusting. The managers of this branch should take a few tips from McDonald's, I've never had an issue with hygine with them. I will not be returning. Update: 31/3/18 For over two months now this KFC has had a limited menu: no hash browns, no wraps so no burritos and no iced tea. When we took a chance and went back today, they had no coffee either. We went to this KFC every week because of the good service and cleanliness but it certainly has gone down hill and with the limited menu that just tops it off. We have decided that we will not be going to this KFC anymore and will be going to the Harlow one instead, which is exeptional with cleanliness and service.

This KFC is the worst I've been to as they have no stock and for weeks they have been short on chicken and there drive thru is really slow and I ended up not ordering my meal as they had no drinks just fruit shoot or hot drinks no fizzy or milkshakes. What kind of KFC do they call this one then as it's been closed for ages due to stock issues and now it's got stock issues again. If they can't manage the KFC in Hatfield then close it down or get management that can run and stock the restraunt so people can eat as I will never go back there now.
